In my body I find my temple; in movement, my language and my way of inhabiting the world.
I was born as Anna Altés, a being in constant motion who learned the language of dance to inhabit the world. In my maturity, a poet named me Alaya the Wolf Mother, acknowledging my instinctive strength, my connection to nature, and the desire to care for the collective that runs through my artistic and personal path.
I am a contemporary dancer, creator, performer, cultural manager, and facilitator of movement processes. From LabCultural Barcelona, a non-profit artistic association, I promote projects that integrate transdisciplinary art and critical thinking, exploring the body as a territory of memory and empowerment.
I move between the stage, intimate exploration, and community, combining the physical and the symbolic, the personal and the collective. My greatest inspiration is nature and the stories that inhabit every body.

Movement & Creation
To create is to move the soul toward new ways of being.

Videoart
Through video art, the fleeting nature of the body is transformed into memory.

Photography
The territory is the stage for the ephemeral body.

Sociocultural Management
Art is my way of doing politics from the body, sowing community processes of transformation.

Teaching & Facilitation
Teaching is accompanying the movement of the other toward their own expression.
Should we create together?
Every collaboration is an encounter between bodies, ideas, and worlds in motion.
